Jim introduces Rita, a 3 year old that is a little behind in training and shows how he works on getting her to relax and be smooth when loping, trotting and transitioning. She is a horse that is fast footed and tends to jump into the lope departure.

Jim prepares Honey for a show and wants to focus on her loping and circles. He wants her to be able to steer, move forward and stay straight when he picks up on her. He also tests speed to know what he has for the show.

Honey has more of an emotional response when asking for something too quick, so Jim works through staying slow and consistent to get her to turn without getting into an unnecessary resistance. He does steering, go forward and get soft to develop rhythm and relaxation.

Emily advances three year old Dreamer's barrel pattern by adding speed. By adding speed, Emily will be able to see and work through any areas that need improvement.
